Waterlin, is a unique spin on a tribute to Francis Walterlin, who is credited with launching the ice harvesting industry in 1897. The missing “L” is the inspiration behind the scavenger hunt, which will send participants in search of the missing “L” hidden at 13 public locations in the area. The Waterlin Coffee Bar & Bistro, the all-day restaurant in the Delta Hotel in Menomonee Falls, officially opened its doors Tuesday. The restaurant previously had a soft opening with limited hours. Daily hours at the Waterlin start with breakfast from 6 to 11 a.m., which is ordered at the coffee bar. The Waterlin Coffee Bar & Bistro plans to open Oct. 1 in Menomonee Falls. The new dining spot is part of the transformation of a former Radisson Hotel into a Delta by Marriott.
